Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival 2024 opens today!

There's still time to join GMB this weekend for a sunny weekend in the Dorset countryside!

As reported by the TUC, the Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival 2024 opened its doors this morning.

Every year, trade unionists from across the country descend on this Dorset village to celebrate Trade Unionism and the wider labour movement.

There are events all day today and tomorrow and Sunday hosts the annual Trade Union march through the village.  Anyone who has never been is highly encouraged to attend and see for yourself the sight of thousands of trade unionists marching with pride.

There is still time for any GMB members to come down and enjoy a sunny weekend in the Dorset countryside.  GMB members and their family can camp for free until Monday morning - just tell us you are coming here.
