GMB calls on members to attend Brighton Rally and March

GMB are asking our members to joining a planned Rally and March in Brighton on Saturday 13th October in support of local public services

GMB are asking our members to joining a planned Rally and March in Brighton on Saturday 13th October. The event is entitled “It’s a matter of Life and Death – communities united fighting for our public services”.

GMB members know the devastating impact government cuts have had on the public services our members work in and rely on. We are concerned about increasing homelessness, cuts and privatisation in our schools and hospitals, the growing crisis in social care and mental health services and the growth in child poverty.

Details for the day are:

Saturday 13th October 2018

Gather 11.30am at the Level Brighton BN2 9SY. Speakers at 11.45am

March Leaves at 12.30pm

Rally in Regency Square BN1 FG at 1.30pm

Look out for the Orange and Black GMB Flags

GMB urge our members to come along and show that GMB members will come together with local communities and other campaign groups to challenge these cuts.  GMB Southern Regional Secretary Paul Maloney will be speaking at the rally in Regency Square and there will also be a high profile Labour Party speaker (To Be Announced).
