GMB announces pay rise for Local Government workers
NJC (Green Book) workers and Chief Officers will be receiving their backdated pay rise soon.
GMB have been working hard with our sister unions to secure a pay rise for our members in Local Government. Our NJC members have voted to accept the pay rise as tabled, and members who are chief officers have also now accepted their pay offer too.

These pay rises are applicable from 1st April 2020, so members will be receiving back pay as well as their pay rises. You should be hearing soon from your employer about when you can expect to receive this.
