GMB members will know that Hills have made a pay offer to staff.  We are seeking to re-ballot our members as we did not reach a definitive outcome in the previous ballot.  The offer is as follows:

Wiltshire Council Loaders

• An increase of 5% taking hourly pay from £12.00 to £12.60.  Current salary is £23,088.00 and new would be £24,242.40.  This increase would pay match employees on an HMC contract.

FCC Contract Loaders

• An increase of 3.28% taking their hourly rate from £12.20 to £12.60.  Current salary of £23,471.91 increased to £24,242.40.  This would pay match with both HMC and the ex-Wiltshire Council employees

FCC/Focsa/WWDC Contract Loaders

• An increase of 3% taking their hourly rate from £12.37 to £12.74.  Salary would go from £23,793.62 to £24,507.43.

WC/FCC/WWDC Drivers

• An increase of 4.77% taking their salary from £27,785.02 to £29,111.19. The hourly rate would go from £13.97 to £14.64. This proposed increase would close gap vs a HMC contract drivers by 50%.

All other staff

• A 3% pay increase.
