It would not apply to shift allowances, forklift allowance, machine or any other allowances/bonuses and meal allowances/overnight allowances for drivers.

2. Benefit improvements:

  • Bereavement

We have listened to some feedback over bereavement benefit, and we will change to the following :-

Up to 5 days in any 12-month period in respect of a parent, 3 days in respect of a brother or sister, and 2 days in any 12 month period in respect of grandparents and other non-immediate family members.

PBR will be paid at a 52 week average. Salaried staff will be paid at their normal rate

  • Jury Service.

We are not required by law to pay you while you are absent on jury service. You will be advised at court of the expenses and loss of earnings that you can claim.  However, we will pay basic pay to team members on jury service less any amounts you can claim from the court for lost earnings for up to 10 working days.  Time off beyond 10 working days may be paid at our discretion

Please indicate below whether you wish to accept this pay offer.  A reject vote indicates that you wish to be balloted for industrial action to secure an improved offer.

This ballot will close at 12 noon on Thursday 3rd April 2025.
