Retired Members Association
Meet our Retired Members Association committee...
As you will know, GMB have been balloting our members within Cheam Academies Network to see if you accept or reject management's pay offer.
GMB balloted you on the employer's offer of 3%, which was rejected by the majority of members.
After GMB returned this result to the trust, they have confirmed their intention to raise CAN salary scales by 6.5% with effect from 1 September 2023.
GMB are therefore now asking you to indicate in the below ballot whether you would be prepared to accept this improved pay offer.
We have heard from some members that they were having difficulty voting, so we have extended the ballot by a week.
The ballot is now open until 12noon on Monday 7th August.
